Assistant Professor in Financial Mathematics and Actuarial Science
Saad Mouti is an assistant professor in financial mathematics and actuarial science at the University of New Haven in Connecticut. Saad holds a PhD in financial mathematics and actuarial science from Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris, and worked as a postdoc at UC Berkeley’s Consortium for Data Analytics in risk and Worcester Polytechnic Institute. His research interests span various applications of statistics and mathematics to finance and insurance, including machine learning, causal inference, and optimization. He is currently passionate about ethical investing, energy finance, and risk sharing in insurance.
