Sara Ager is a legally qualified compliance and regulatory expert with over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, including senior roles at Lloyd’s managing agents, Bermudian reinsurers, MGAs, and London Market brokers. A solicitor by training, she specialises in applying complex regulatory frameworks to support innovation, governance, and operational integrity, particularly in technology- and AI-led environments. Sara advises on control frameworks, delegated authority, conduct risk, and regulatory engagement, working with both established firms and new entrants. She has helped launch novel insurance structures, including Lloyd’s service companies, and held an executive position in the UK’s first super MGA.
